The SCARLET KNIGHTS

The SCARLET KNIGHTS is Barnwell High School's Marching Band. The SCARLET KNIGHTS is a competitive unit that travels to compete with other marching bands throughout South Carolina. The SCARLET KNIGHTS also participate in parades and present exhibition performances throughout the year.

Symphonic Winds

The Symphonic Winds is Barnwell's top concert band ensemble. The Symphonic Winds present at least two local concerts per year and participate in SCBDA's Concert Festival as well as other Adjudicated Concert Band Festivals. A formal playing audition is required for participation in Symphonic Winds.

Scarlet JAZZ

Scarlet JAZZ is a traditional style Jazz Big Band. Those playing Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone, and Percussion may Audition to be selected for Scarlet JAZZ.

Winter Guard Ensemble

The Winter Guard is the Newest Performing Unit at Barnwell High School. Winter Guard is a Spring activity that integrates the use of flags, body movement, and choreography. The Winter Guard Performs in Exhibition and Competitive performances. Winter Guard is open to Female students by Audition.
